EA Sports FC 26 Mobile Review: Pocket Football Gets Serious

EA Sports FC 26 Mobile is no longer a side product. This year EA moved more console systems across, including a career mode and a deeper Ultimate Team.

Controls

Touch buttons were rebuilt: sprint is pressure-based and through-balls have a direction indicator. After ten matches it feels natural — but a gamepad is still mandatory in the higher divisions.

Career mode

You can finally start as a young player, train weekly and climb to a big club. Progression is simple but satisfying. There is still no full manager mode.

Ultimate Team

This is where the money goes. Packs open with long animations and team progress depends heavily on good pulls. It is playable free, but you will fall behind in upper divisions without spending.

Verdict

For mobile football fans who want serious gameplay, this is currently the best. For casual play, eFootball is lighter. 8.2/10.
